Lancaster Arms Model Number 3060

We took some pictures of this Romanian G kit assembled by Landcaster Arms in Goodyear, AZ. These are popular AK47s. They are sold as Original Russian Red (or Blond) While they are not historically accurate, they are good shooteing AK47 and many people like their apperence.

High gloss stock treatment and fresh black gun-coat paintjob really make these look brand new, just out of the factory. But it makes them difficult to photograph.

Built on a NoDak Spud receiver (best in the biz) and a Romanian 'G' parts kit. Hardly the 'Russian' they describe it as, but it's obviously designed to look like a Russian AK47. The thick Black Gun Coat over Parkerization offers a strong finish close to the original finish Russia did

The modified Romanian vert foregrip creates an interesting shape for the front handguard. The G is visable on the rear sight block. THis 1980 kit has had the lettering highlighted in white

I am considering purchasing the above model. What is your price on the model 3060? I saw it offered on Lancaster Arms website.
This would be my first AK ever. How much do you know about the quality/accuracy of this AK?
I am wary about buying a Romanian-parts AK, even though Lancaster offers a lifetime warranty on the weapon. What do you think?

Ted Marshall's reputation as the premier AK builder and AK gunsmith proceeds him in collectors circles.

Some of us go beyond the mere pleasure of shooting the AK47 and delve into the never ending quest to collect the accurate parts to eventually build the ultimate historical recreation of our favorite version of the AK47. When you get to that point you are paying more for an upper handguard than most people pay for entire rifles. You're traveling 2 days out of your way to visit a shop in a town that you heard might have the magazine pouch you need to hold the mags for that rifle.

When you reach this point you look to just one person to build your AK, Ted Marshall
