bought my Yugo for just under 500 dollars, all I can say is this is the right gun for the AK owner.

1. The receiver is of high grade U.S. steel

2. The under folder model has a solid metal stock,
very well made from the parts kits, unissued most

3. The gun is made from new stock parts kits with us parts. Very solid to feel, not a cheap model AK

4. Shots well for a 7.62 gun, the recoil was more
with the under folder model, this was due to
less weight of the gun.

5. I would need to give this gun 8 out of 10 due
the strenth and workmanship of the unit.

Semi AKs are useless outside of viral marketing for gun control.

They are inaccurate, have poor sights and unavoidably project a ridiculious commie/arab/terrorist vibe (very slightly reduced here by this models' use by Xian anticommunists).

Ranting aside, the plastic used in the furniture looks and feels cheap in a grainy sort of way and you're lucky if you get one with the barrel mounted properly to the reciever (hence the canted sights).

I have a blast plinking with it.
