We review the Horns Custom Yugo M92 - Krinkov

Another cool AK47 version built by Chris Horn. We had a chance to take photes and put it head to head with a few other AK47 versions

ZASTAVA (YUGOSLAVIAN) Yugo M92 - 'Krinkov' Build

We recently had the chance to look closely at one of the Krink (AKS-47U?) This was another great build by Chris. He really took his time on this one, as you'd expect for a $1200 rifle. Starting with a Yugoslavian Parts kit that was obviously hand picked. The wood was in great shape, it looked as if this Krink had not even been fired before.  Chris used  a Ewbanks receiver on this build, and added some of his custom touches like the notched safety lever to create a simple and safe bolt hold open. And a custom made barrel extension permanently attached as required by law, but in the shape and proportions of a real AK47 suppressor. This is a dummy tube to stay legal, but the effect is a real head turner.

Compared with the WASR-10

We are not trying to say one of these AK47 rifles is better then the other, just to let everyone who might not otherwise see both laying next to each other see the differences and similarities between these two rifles.

Receiver: Ewbanks
Yugo AKMS rifle with underfolding stock set, pistol grip. Comes with a US made magazine, custom made fake suppressor and it is warranted for life!
Retail Price:  $1199.99
Cal: 7.62X39

Compared with the WASR-10

Here you can see the major difference between these two rifles. The length of the shorter Krink is made up for with a fake suppresor, simmilar to the real equipment used to silence.  The Horns Krink features a cut out on the safety lever which creates a bolt hold open.

Very nice. I have been trying to locate a parts kit for one of these. I can't seem to locate one.

I would also be pleased if I could find a Romanian AK WASR 2 kit. Again, no can find.

Whose hiding all the interesting kits? I'm addicted to putting these together. The payoff
is great.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
